Title : Job Hunting Process in Japan

1. What strong points does the speaker have?

I think my strong points are good eye contact and gestures. I made even eye contact with the audience, and my gestures were not distracting.

2. How well did the audience get to know the speech subject?

I think the audience got to know the speech subject pretty well because, after the presentation, I got a feedback saying that now they can apply for a company in Japan.

3. Did the speech reflect adequate preparation?

Yes, I think the presentation reflected my preparation and efforts well. I researched a lot for this presentation and tried to make it simple but specific for everyone who has high possibilities of looking for a job abroad.

4. Did the speaker talk clearly and audibly?

My voice was clear enough to be recorded.

5. Did the speech have a definite opening, body, and conclusion?

Yes it had. I started with stating general fact and introduced what the presentation is going to be. In the bodies, I used transition words such as first, next, and finally to make the steps clear. At the end, I summarized all the process once again.

6. Please comment on the speaker's use of notes/eye contact.

Eye contacts were good, and I didn't use the notes.

7. What could the speaker have done differently that would have improved the speech?

The presentation would've been better if I said a little bit slowly and made less 'um's during the presentation.

8. What did you like about the presentation?

I liked my topic and the way it is organized. The presentation was really informative and useful for the audience who cannot understand Japanese and who are too busy to study the process in person. I also put only necessary information in the presentation not to make it too complicated.

    informative speech.

    2. How well did the audience get to know the speech subject?

Although I had no clue about getting a job in Japan before this presentation. Now after watching this presentation I feel like I would be able to have a good start if I am looking for one. Very informative.

    3. Did the speech reflect adequate preparation?

I could clearly see that a lot of time and efforts were made to deliver great presentation. It was not a presentation that could be prepared in a day.

    4. Did the speaker talk clearly and audibly?

Voice was clear and audible. No problem in that issue.

    5. Did the speech have a definite opening, body, and conclusion?

It had real clear intro, body, and conlusion. She even divided it in visual, so that it was real easy for audiences to know each part of presentation. Summary at the end was also a great indicator.

    6. Please comment on the speaker's use of notes/eye contact.

No notes were used. Eye contacts were made through entire speech

    7. What could the speaker have done differently that would have improved the speech?

Although visuals were very well prepared, little less text in visual aids could have made it more comfortable.

    8. What did you like about the presentation?

The presentation was clearly well prepared. Also I could see that the speaker had a lot of information about the topic. Although topic was little serious, speaker did great job in delivering information. It felt very professional.
