Title : Goods and Bads of Caffein

1. What strong points does the speaker have?

My stron points are loud voice and clear pronunciation, in my opinion. The room where I took my presentation video was so big that my voice was reverbareated too much, so it doesn't seem to be, though.

2. How well did the audience get to know the speech subject?

I think they understand most of the things that I wanted to tell them. I started the presentation with two questions to attract my audiences' attention, and then I introduce what the presentation would be like and I think it gave them a brief preview of what my speech is about. Also, through the hole process, I gave detailed explanations of chemicals which can help person who has no idea of them understand what I'm talking about. Most of all, as you can see in the video, my audience is nodding her head during my hole presentation and it gave me confident when I was giving my speech.

3. Did the speech reflect adequate preparation?

Unsatisfying. I practiced a lot and made visual aids. However, from the moment I turned on my video and started my presentation, I was so nervous that that I even forget the whole script that I memorized.

4. Did the speaker talk clearly and audibly?

As I said in the first question, my only strong point in giving presentation is loud and clear voice. It's bit fast, but I think it is audible enough.

5. Did the speech have a definite opening, body, and conclusion?

Definitely, yes. I spent a lot of time thinking how to start and how to end the presentation. Then I dedcided to start with questions that can attract audiences' attention and to end with the advices based on my own experience to make them think of themselves and also about my presentation. I think this helped ro bind my presentation properly.

6. Please comment on the speaker's use of notes/eye contact.

I tried to do eye contact with my audience, because I heard advice that I didn't do it very much in my previous presentation. Also I didn't use the note in my previous presentation, I was just holding it, not using it, but in this speech, I used it properly and nicely. It doesn't seem that I'm using it or holding it because it was on the desk in front of me. It was too heavy for me to hold it through the whole presentation. (It was my galaxy tap)

7. What could the speaker have done differently that would have improved the speech?

I think I improved. I used pause, eventhough it wasn't perfect. Also my presentation seem more natural than before. I used gestures, and moved a bit.

8. What did you like about the presentation?

I like ending of my presentation. Because it gives advices to audience while wrapping up the whole contents of presentation, and also the audience can sympathize with that sicnce it was based on my own experience as an university student who are preparing for the final exams.

    1. What strong points does the speaker have?

I really liked her speed and confident voice. Her intonation and tone was also great. Her pausing helped me understand the presentation better.

    2. How well did the audience get to know the speech subject?

Because in the video, the audiences are nodding and it seems that they do understand her speech even though the contents were quite difficult.

    3. Did the speech reflect adequate preparation?

She seems to have prepared a lot for her presentation. Because she did know when to turn the page of the ppt slides in the right moments of her speech..

    4. Did the speaker talk clearly and audibly?

Yes, she did. She talked confidently with clear and audible voice. I believe this is her strong points.

    5. Did the speech have a definite opening, body, and conclusion?

Yes, she did. She asked a question at the opening and explained about her topic at the body. She ended up by giving advices based on her experience..

    6. Please comment on the speaker’s use of notes/eye contact.

She used a galaxy tap as her notes and put it on the desk. I think she used the tablet appropriately. In addition, her eye contacts were good.

    7. What could the speaker have done differently that would have improved the speech?

In my opinion, I think the topic was not that much interesting because many people are aware of good effects and side effects of caffeine. Also, I think it would’ve been better if she didn’t focus her explanations on ‘hows’ and ‘science information’. In my opinion, her presentation could’ve been more interesting if she explained her contents more easily.

    8. What did you like about the presentation?

I really liked her steady speed and appropriate pauses because they definitely helped me to understand her presentation. I also liked her confident voice, intonation and tone.

    1. What strong points does the speaker have?

Your speech was in moderate speed and volume and I liked it.

    2. How well did the audience get to know the speech subject?

Since you contatined many sources which can be quite unfamiliar and difficult for others to understand, the audience can be bored easily. However, the subject itself was familiar with everyone so if you are careful about the explanation and try hard to make it easy to understand, the speech could be clearer.

    3. Did the speech reflect adequate preparation?

You seemed to prepare a lot since you didn't glance your scripts a lot.

    4. Did the speaker talk clearly and audibly?

Yes. You were very confident with your speech voice.

    5. Did the speech have a definite opening, body, and conclusion?
Yes, you asked a question as an opening and introduced the index and mentioned it at least twice to make it organized.

    6. Please comment on the speaker’s use of notes/eye contact.

You had enough eye contacts with the audience, but you could have more communication with them if you had memorized all the script perfectly and had your hands free from the galazy tab.

    7. What could the speaker have done differently that would have improved the speech?
As I mentioned, the subject itself was very falimilar with everyone and interesting but the explanation needed some more efforts to be easier for everyone; unless, some would fall in sleep if the speech gets longer.

    8. What did you like about the presentation?
I liked your confidence when you talked. You had confidence with what you were saying and seemed to know exactly about what you were explaining about.
