JeongheeLee 201502585 / Unit 1 Presentation / Wednesday 1-3 p.m.

https://youtu.be/fAgAPibOL9U

(I am uploading my video again because I wrote the class time wrong. Please write comments to this post.)

It was such a precious and fun experience to give a presentation about my role model in front of audiences.

I tried my best for my presentation but unfortunately I made a few mistakes.

Because I was very nervous, my speed got faster and I didn't pause properly. Sometimes, I also paused

However, I think I did give my presentation in a confident voice and I tried to use various gestures.

I should practice on keeping my speed and using pauses appropriately.

I also hope to find my own style of giving a presentation.

  1. (Sung-Kyung Kang) I can notice her confidence in the presentation. Also through the confidence, I can know she practiced a lot. I think her presentation is cool!

You're full of confidence and various gestures:) I envy you cause there's any pause but you speak and remember all the things you should say. Because I was your audience I know that you said you're so nervous but it was just acting I guess!!:) I wish I could see your presentation next time, too. Really good job and hope I can be like you.

  3. Speaking Feedback For My Presentation
    Date : 2016. April. 21
    Speaker: Jeonghee Lee
    Evaluator: Jeonghee Lee
    Title : Yuna-Kim

    1. What strong points does the speaker have?
I think my strong points are confidence and various gestures. I think my voice was loud enough, not too small or too loud. I also used various gestures through the whole presentation.

    2. How well did the audience get to know the speech subject?
I think my audiences got to know about Yuna-Kim and the reasons why I admire her quite well, because I didn't use words that are too difficult. Also, I previewed about my subtopics at the beginning of the presentation and summarized what I've said in conclusion.

    3. Did the speech reflect adequate preparation?
I did prepared a lot for this presentation. Even though I couldn't memorized everything and I had to use notes, I used my notes very effectively, and I did give my presentation as the way I prepared. For example, I practiced giving stresses to main words like 'an honorary ambassador' and I did give stresses on those words at the presentation.

    4. Did the speaker talk clearly and audibly?
I am not very satisfied with the speed of my presentation. I was quite nervous and my speed got a little faster as I went on. However, I think my overall speech was quite clear and audible with proper stresses.

    5. Did the speech have a definite opening, body, and conclusion?
I do have a definite opening, body and conclusion! I followed the book!

    6. Please comment on the speaker’s use of notes/eye contact.
Because I was nervous, I forgot many points and I looked at the notes more than I did when I practiced. I made the notes really clear, so I could get a lot of help from my note. Even though I looked at my notes a lot, I think I did have a good eye contacts with all of my audiences.

    7. What could the speaker have done differently that would have improved the speech?
I think keeping the right speed and using pauses more appropriately at right moments would have improved my presentation.

    8. What did you like about the presentation?
I really liked my topic about my role model because I could give my presentation with confidence since I know well about my idol. I think I did used proper gestures that goes pretty well with my speech.

I think your presentation was very well-organized. You have the strong points on gestures and clear pronounciations. Also, your voice was loud and this seemes very confident. It seemed like you had many efforts in order to get prepared for the presentation. However, when you are doing your next presentation, I think it will be better for you to lessen the times you look at the notecards. Overall, the presentation on Yuna Kim was very well-organized and clear enough to understnad all the key points that she have mentioned.
